Hatir pool is located about a hundred yards away fromBariura bazar of Sarail upazila on the way Dhaka-Sylhet road. It is a brick built bridge. During 1650, Dewan Shahbaz Ali constructed the road from Sarail to Shahbazpur, which is still in existence from Kutta para to Shahbazpur. Local people call this road ‘jangal’. And the pool is located over this very jangal.
